Launching October 2026 — Melbourne's north & west

Indoor football,
built on match craft.

A planned indoor football (soccer) program for boys aged 7–14 across Melbourne's north and west. Two full hours, Monday to Thursday, 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Venues are being finalised.

Built different. On purpose.

Why parents choose Match Craft

100%

Indoor by design

Planned as a fully indoor program.

Every planned session runs inside an indoor hall, Monday – Thursday, 6:00 – 8:00 pm — so training won't depend on rain, wind or heat.

2 hrs

Proper training time

Two full hours a session.

Each planned session is two structured hours — technique, game intelligence and fitness, not a short clinic.

20

Small groups

Capped at 20 players.

Small, coached groups mean real repetitions and real attention for every child — not queue time.

WWCC

Professional standards

Clear peace of mind.

Coaches must hold a current Working with Children Check before working with participants, and insurance and venue documentation will be confirmed before sessions begin.

The MatchCraft standard

Kids soccer training built around the game

Match craft is what separates players: the first touch under pressure, the pass picked early, the run made at the right moment. Our planned sessions are built to develop it deliberately — high repetitions, real decisions, and a consistent weekly format that turns practice into habit.

How every session works

Train. Think. Transfer.

01 — Train

Technical skills that stick

Two full hours of structured ball work every planned session — first touch, dribbling, passing, finishing. Small groups, capped at 20, so every player gets real repetitions, not queue time.

02 — Think

Game intelligence, not just drills

Sessions are designed to teach decisions: when to pass, where to move, how to read the game. Discipline, teamwork and confidence are built into every session plan.

03 — Transfer

Built for the real game

Everything trained indoors is chosen to transfer to outdoor football — designed so what's learned on a weeknight shows up on match day.

The planned program

Two-hour weeknight sessions, four nights a week

Monday – Thursday, 6:00 – 8:00 pm — planned for the October 2026 launch. Structured football training built around technical skill, game intelligence, fitness — and enjoyment. Designed to transfer to weekend club football.

Is there indoor soccer training for kids in Melbourne's north and west?

MatchCraft Football Academy is preparing structured indoor football (soccer) training for boys 7–14, launching October 2026 across Melbourne's north and west. Sessions are planned for Monday to Thursday, 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Venues are being finalised — register interest to be kept updated.

Will sessions be cancelled for bad weather?

The program is planned as fully indoor, so once sessions are running they won't depend on rain, wind or heat.

My child has never played before. Is MatchCraft right for them?

Yes. Sessions are designed for every level, from first-timers to kids already playing club football, with activities grouped by ability so beginners build confidence while experienced players are stretched.

What's the planned price, and what does it include?

Planned pricing is $175 for a 4-session block (one session a week) or $300 for an 8-session block (two sessions a week), with coaching and equipment included. Registering interest requires no payment.

What happens if a session doesn't reach minimum numbers?

Planned sessions run once at least 10 players are committed. If a planned session can't go ahead, you won't pay for it.

How will you keep kids safe?

Coaches must hold a current Working with Children Check before working with participants. Child Safe expectations and a code of conduct will apply, guardian consent and relevant medical information will be collected before participation, an incident-reporting process will be maintained, and required insurance and venue documentation will be confirmed before sessions begin.

Can we try a session before committing?

Yes — the first confirmed session is free. Because venues aren't confirmed yet, registering interest doesn't book a session; we'll be in touch to arrange the free first session once launch arrangements are confirmed.
